Services

In the following table, you can discover the main legal services our lawyers provide:

Our Main Services
 Our main legal services

Our services are designed for foreigners around the world who arrive here for short, long or permanent stays.

We assist investors, students, asylum seekers or those seeking employment in New Zealand.

For this purpose, we have 3 basic legal services, concerning the issuance or visas and/or residence permits and acquiring New Zealand citizenship.

 Obtain residency

Foreigners can rely on us if they want to obtain temporary or permanent residency.

We can help you prepare the application file and address the Immigration Office New Zealand, and we can also clarify the basic requirements you need to comply with in order to obtain residency (it depends on the reason of arrival and the type of residency).

 Immigration services for Americans

Please mind that Americans can arrive to New Zealand visa free for tourism purposes (for short-term stays).

Provided that you arrive here for other purposes, we recommend you book our services for legal advice and information on the visa types and immigration obligations.

We can help you obtain residency and citizenship, apply for skilled employment (Skilled Migrant category, Talent Work Visa, Talent Resident Visa), obtain an investor visa, etc.

 Immigration services for Britons

British nationals can receive assistance on their visa obligations (imposed only for long-term stays), residency requirements and citizenship application.

Our lawyers can also assist in family reunification cases (partner visa, family visa).

 Apply for the investor visa

Foreign businessmen can apply for the Active Investor Plus visa, through which they can obtain permanent residency in 3 or 5 years, depending on the investment pathway they have selected.

Our lawyers can present the current investment options (Growth and Balanced Categories) and the legal and financial requirements that must be met in each case.

 Obtain citizenship

Citizenship can be obtained based on the rules of the Citizenship Act 1977 (by birth, naturalization and descent).

We provide tailored legal services in accordance to the type of citizenship an individual is entitled to.

 Apply for New Zealand visas

Visas in New Zealand can be issued for short-term stays (up to 90 days) and long-term stays (of minimum 90 days).

They can be granted for:

– tourism,

– business,

– investment,

– research,

– employment,

– study,

– family reunification,

– humanitarian reasons.

Our team will represent clients in the issuance of any of the visas regulated under the New Zealand law.

 Residency by investment

Residency by investment can be obtained, with the professional assistance of our immigration lawyers, when applying for the Active Investor Plus visa or the Entrepreneur Work visa.

Please know that New Zealand does not offer a citizenship by investment program.

 Immigration services for Canadians

Canadians need to obtain visas only for long stays (for short-term arrivals they can arrive visa free, provided that they have submitted the New Zealand electronic Travel Authority – we can inform you on the basic formalities applicable in this case).

Our lawyers can help Canadians obtain any of the visas that they are interested in, and can provide support in residency and citizenship matters.

We also assist in the issuance of the Work Holiday visa, available for Canadian citizens.

Obtain a skilled work visa

The skilled program is comprised of the Skilled Migrant Resident visa, The Green List visa, the Care Workforce and Transport Sector Agreement visas.

Applicants must make proof of having a job included in the list of selected occupations and have an employment contract with an employer in New Zealand.

There are many other basic requirements to comply with (salary, work experience, education, maximum age), and our lawyers can present them, along with the formalities that must completed by the applicant and the employer.

Participate in the Work Holiday program

Work Holiday visa can be obtained by the nationals of 45 countries.

In order to qualify, they need to be passport holders of eligible jurisdictions and have an age of 18 to 30 (35 for some nationalities).

Some nationals have the right to apply for a 2nd Work Holiday visa (we can assist in this procedure).

Obtain citizenship by descent

It is available for individuals who, at the moment of their birth, had a parent who had New Zealand nationality.

We can help you prepare your documentation and complete the application based on the category you qualify for (there are 2 categories, age based – applicants under 16 years old and those above 16).
